May 21, 2026"Chowboys has been one of my better food discoveries in the Flathead Valley. Simple trailer, focused menu, and a smash burger that's genuinely hard to beat. The patty has that perfect crispy edge with a melt-in-your-mouth interior — the kind of burger that's hard to explain until you've had it. The cheese, pickles, and sauce all work together without overcomplicating things. I don't usually order fries, but decided to on this visit and was surprised — generous portion, well-seasoned, and the fry sauce that comes with them is the same sauce on the burger. Really good. They're parked on the Black Rifle Coffee patio on 3rd, so grab a coffee inside while you wait. Lunch only since Black Rifle closes at 6, and hours can vary so check their Facebook before making a trip. Worth it every time."

Apr 30, 2026"The BEST burger in Kalispel, hands down! You must try the Oaklahoma Smash Burger. I've had one of the originals in El Reno, OK... and Chowboys is even better than that. Chowboys cooks with fresh local meat and lots of love. They even have bison burgers. They fries are super crispy and great with the fry sauce."
